In a statement released on October 15, 2010 the FDA approved Botox as one of the treatments used in preventative measures for Chronic Migraines.

Migraines strongly affect its victim’s lifestyles by preventing them from going about their regular routines.

The difference between Chronic Migraines and regular headaches is the general time that they last and how often they occur. Chronic Migraines occur on average 14 or more times in a month and last anywhere from 2-4 hours (In some cases longer).

Botox has been proven to be an effective alternative for migraine treatments because it is regularly injected around the head and neck around every 12 weeks.

Keep in mind that when Botox is used for these kinds of medicinal purposes it is used only for those with extreme cases (Chronic Migraines) and not for regular headaches.

What are the differences between Botox and Laser Rejuvenation?

What is acupuncture and modern science combined together? Micro-Needling. No, the process does not require actual long sessions of acupuncture but it is a roller that is made up of many miniature needles that are rolled around the area that you wish to be treated.  The needles work by opening up the pores in a non harsh way that allows your skin to recover naturally, by the pores being opened the products you apply to your skin have the gateway of reaching deeper into your skin by 40 percent. Areas that can be treated are: wrinkles on the face, upper lip lines, and neck. Your results can be seen within a week and depending on the degree of improvement that is desired a series of 6-10 sessions should be done in intervals ranging from once a week to once a month.

Laser Wrinkle Correction is one of the most asked about procedures in regards to rejuvenation. It is the same thing as laser resurfacing but it requires no downtime and that is what makes it so amazing! Elos laser treatments work brilliantly by removing fine lines and encouraging new collagen in the treated areas. The Laser Wrinkle Correction and Skin Tightening Laser Treatment are both used by re-toning the skin and facial muscles, and also dramatically reducing wrinkles. Six treatments are traditionally recommended in order to receive the desired results, and we also recommend you to pair these treatments with Botox, Microdermabrasion, or micro-needling.

Last but not least is the Photo-facial. This treatment claims to be the “simple choice for clearer, younger –looking skin,” and we agree! If you are wanting to get rid of your unwanted, uneven skin tone and visible vessels, this is the treatment for you! It is an optimized light device used to deliver energy into your skin which points to the unwanted vessels and pigmented lesions. The procedure lasts around 30 minutes depending on the desired treatment area and little to no discomfort is felt throughout the process. 1 – 2 sessions is all that is usually needed to reach desirable results.

These are the treatments that we highly recommend to you because these are the ones that WE believe to be the most effective.

It isn't about which treatment is better than the other or which one will last longer, it’s about which treatment fits accordingly with your skin. Many people have the same concerns when in regards to aging, but many think that there are only treatments such as Botox that are there to help.  If you do not like needles then obviously you will be more hesitant to use Botox, Juvederm, or Micro-Needling but treatments such as Laser Wrinkle Correction and Photo-facials have been proven to be just as effective.
